About JetCharterCost
JetCharterCost publishes independent guides to private jet charter for one job: helping you understand what a trip should cost, and what to check, before you request a quote.
Most charter content online is written by brokers and operators selling flights. Much of it is useful, but each one shows its own prices. We put several published price lists side by side, add the government tax figures, and show the maths.
Who writes these guides
The guides are written and maintained by Jackson, the site's founder and editor. Jackson is not a pilot, broker or aviation lawyer. What the guides offer is careful reading of published rate pages and official sources, with every figure linked so you can check it yourself.
How we research and check
- Prices come from rate pages published by charter brokers and operators. We name the source next to each table and say when two sources disagree.
- Taxes and rules come from government sources: the FAA and IRS in the US, GOV.UK and the Civil Aviation Authority in the UK.
- Worked examples are our own calculations, with every assumption stated, so you can redo them for your trip.
- We re-check figures when the source pages change and update the date at the top of each guide.
We do not publish made-up reviews, star ratings or "exclusive" prices.
How we make money
Some links on this site are referral links. If you request a quote and book a flight through them, the broker may pay us a commission. You pay the same price. Today our referral partner is: Villiers. Read the full affiliate disclosure.
Corrections
